House in Dunning, Scotland

Our 18th century Grade C listed house has an enclosed garden that is mostly lawn, next to the off street parking. There is also a private courtyard garden at the back of the house.

However, although it is an old house we have Sky, flat screen TV, Apple Mac, and superfast WiFi. The world renowned Gleneagles golf course is nearby, and there is a highly regarded 9 hole golf course in the village. Perth city centre 20 minutes, Glasgow and Edinburgh maybe an hour. Generally this is a good spot for exploring Scotland, with the Highlands to the North, Edinburgh to the East and Glasgow to the West

We had a great experience exchanging with Thierry. HIs house was lovely with a super pool and garden and all beautifully kept. We used his car, looked after his cat and were very fortunate that his daughter came to collect us and return us to the airport. We had a really good time in France, we got to see lots of the area and Thierry's recommendations were good too. We would recommend exchanging with this family and would not hesitate to do it again. Communication was good and everything went very well.

Our home exchange with Brenda and Kieren went very well. Their house is very pleasant to live in. They and their two sons were exceptionally kind. I would recommend doing exchanges with them.

Wir haben wunderbare Wochen in Brendas und Kierens OLD SCHOOL und in GREY ROW verbracht. So wunderbare Unterkünfte im OSTEN und WESTEN Schottlands zur Verfügung zu haben, ist wahrer Luxus. Wir durften Kieren als unglaublich lieben, hilfsbereiten Tauschpartner kennenlernen. Unsere Freunde haben Brenda und ihre Söhne kennengelernt und waren begeistert von ihnen Sie haben unser Haus sehr sauber hinterlassen, ebenso das Auto. Die Blumen im Garten wurden bestens versorgt und unsere Katze auch!!! Wir haben sehr viel von Schottland gesehen, was für ein traumhaft schönes Land! Wir sind euch sehr, sehr dankbar, dass ihr mit uns getauscht haben und wünschen uns sehr, dass wir Kontakt halten! Dagmar und Wolfgang

Had some good chats with Dagmar preceding the exchange. She was always quick to respond, and provided me with lots of helpful information about places to visit, things to do, where to eat etc There is plenty of room in the house, but we spent most of the time outside in the beautiful garden. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub Nearby are lovely historical towns, and there is a lot to do in the area. The scenery is spectacular Overall, a most enjoyable exchange which I highly recommend.
