All in all it was clear this was not a good match. The exchange partner was interested in a party town and Tkon is a family oriented place in Croatia. She complained about grocery store being too far yet walked the same distance to a bar and restaurant daily before her son arrived with a car. He came with 2 additional guests she did not tell me in advance about and I only learned about them by chance. She was angry with me because I did not have a toothpaste for her in my house in Croatia. She threatened me with a hotel or Airbnb bill.
