House in DOMENE, 10km from Grenoble. Rhone-Alpes France
Notre maison est neuve, construite en 2025. C'est une maison à ossature bois, isolée et confortable. un chauffage au sol. Nous avons 3 chambres à l'étage, la chambre parentale au rez-de-chaussée. La pièce télé est à l'étage, les chambres ont toutes des lits doubles, nos enfants étant grands. Il y a une Mezzanine pour un couchage supplémentaire. Nous habitons à environ 400m du centre village, avec des commerces de proximité.
La maison est entièrement équipée (5 vélos de différentes tailles, barbecue, wi-fi, etc.). Les sentiers de montagne les plus proches débutent à 1km de la maison. Les massifs de Belledonne et de Chartreuse offrent de magnifiques randonnées avec des panoramas exceptionnels, adaptées à tous les niveaux. Des stations de ski sont accessibles en 40 minutes en voiture (http://www.chamrousse.com/ et http://www.les7laux.com/index.php/fr/). En été, les stations de ski sont ouvertes (http://ete.france-montagnes.com/activite/ski-dete).

Nous nous situons à 400m du centre village qui a des commerces de proximité. Notre maison se situe dans un quartier trés calme, les maisons voisines ne sont pas si proches.

We are two young retirees, having retired in 2025. This year, we also finished building our wooden house. Our three daughters are grown, and sometimes they join us for a few days during a home exchange with another family.We love hiking in the mountains and long walks in any environment. Forests, hills, or arid plains—we love exploring the areas surrounding the houses we exchange.We really enjoy the places we exchange. Being avid readers, we love to read in a comfortable spot. Culture is another passion of ours, along with hiking. As avid art lovers, we enjoy visiting museums and local exhibitions, as well as exploring the architecture of the regions we visit. And if we discover design shops, it's a delight, as we are also passionate about and collect contemporary design.
Our house is Scandinavian-inspired because we love these regions where we have participated in many exchanges.Like some others, we designed the sauna first and then the rest of the house.
