Thus is our preferred date range for travel but we have no real firm plans for most of 2026 so are quite flexible with exchange dates at this stage. Happy to consider any exchanges if we can make it work for both parties. |

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Brisbane - 41km
Burpengary East is a suburb of Moreton Bay City. It is a mainly rural area with acreage and natural bush and some small farms close to the Caboolture River. The main access road is Ulhmann Rd which leads to the mouth of the Caboolture River where many people fish from the pontoon or take their boats out to Moreton Bay. You should see lots of pelicans and other bird life feasting on the fish which breed in the mangroves.
To the north is the North Harbour Heritage Park and Mountain Bike Trails. It is a great place to have a picnic and explore the heritage of the area including the old sugar cane farm that was once on the site.
There will be a new shopping complex opening in October 2024 only 5 mins drive or an easy 25 min one way walk if you feel like stretching your legs. It will have places to eat, a large grocery store, butcher and other specialty stores. Consider a Sunday morning walk to the Ruby Tuesday Cafe in the shopping complex area which does great coffee and breakfast.
