We are Joel, Kristin & Frida.

Our family home is located in the heart of Motueka in close proximity to shops and eateries and in walking distance to a stunning stretch of beach with a picturesque walking/cycling pathway as well as New Zealands Golf Club of the year. There is an abundance of things to do and see while you stay with us and we are happy to give you plenty of ideas and recommendations.

Our home is by no means luxurious or modern but cosy, homely and perfect for your family holiday.
It could be your base to explore the fabulous Abel Tasman National Park, Golden Bay or other destinations on the North or South Island of New Zealand.

Our place is located in a quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. It is a one story build from the 80s with two bedrooms with comfortable, fully made beds (one super king in the master bedroom and one king single with single trundler in the second bedroom which can also be made up as a super king bed).

Enjoy our open plan kitchen, living & dining area with access to our private and sheltered patio area with outdoor dining table, sun chairs and BBQ. We have put up a gazebo for some extra shade during the hot summer months. There is also a lawn area and flower garden in the front of the house as well as a veggie patch where you can help yourself to some fresh herbs or greens.

Quickly rinse off in the shower or relax in the bath in our bathroom with seperate toilet. You will also have access to our laundry room with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Our space is best suited for up to 4 people however we will accept families of 5 if your group includes children and you’re happy to share beds.

We are looking for a tidy, friendly and trustworthy person, couple or family to look after our home while we are away and enjoy what Motueka has to offer. If you are interested please get in touch and tell us a little bit about yourself and the home you want to swap with us.
