Familiar appartment in Madrid city center
Our appartment was completelly renovated in 2017.
It has 3 rooms that can accomodate 5 people.
The big sofa in the living room can accomodate 2 more in case of need.
You can find many toys as well (and even bikes that we park in the building common spaces). We also have a parking place in the same building.
It is very comfortable and well located in Madrid city center.

Our Neighbourhood
The appartment is Located in Salamanca District. It is very centric and it is a calm neighbourhood.
Retiro's park is a 20 minutes walking distances. There are also buses going there.
Puerta del Sol, can also be reached in around 40 minutes walking distance, or 15 minutes by metro.
It is also very convinient appartment to visit the rest of Spain. There is a direct bus to the airport (25 minutes) and another one to Atocha Railway station (15 min). From atocha, there are high speed trains to most of the main cities in Spain (Barcelona, Sevilla, Cordoba, Malaga, Valencia, Santiago de Compostela...).
Madrid region has also mountains where you can enjoy your walks. Only 1h distance by car from the appartment.

About Our Family
Hello, my wife and I would like to exchange our appartment in Madrid city center, for a House near Winchester or London (England).
We have 3 girls (6, 4 and 2 years old) and we used to travel a lot before our first girl. Now, we would like to start traveling with them.
We were hesitating a lot the "home exchange" concept. But finally we have decided that this could work for us, since we are very clean and responsible family and we think we can find similar families over here.
For the moment, we are looking for a very concrete destination which is Winchester/London in England. My wife's brother lives there with her wife and 2 years old daughter, so we would like to spend a minumim of 15 days and a maximum of 22 days in august 2025, living in the same city as they live, and also we would like our girls to start speking english in a summer camp in Winchester/London.
Our appartment is perfect not only to visit Madrid, but the whole Spain, since we have direct bus (25 minutes) to the airport and another one (15 minutes) to Atocha Railway station where you can find high speed trains to almost every big city in Spain (Sevilla, Cordoba, Málaga, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza, Galicia Region...).
