We are the Eriksen family and we like to welcome you in our home and neighborhood. We are a family of 6. Our children are from the age of 17-26 years old. We love to do exchanges with intervac sometimes all of us and sometimes only with some of the kids.
We live in the town Frederikssund (15000 inhabitants) in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our house is from 1960 but recently modernized. It is 180m2 big. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and a living room. One room we have turned into a small apartment. It has 3 beds, own entrance, small kitchen with fridge and television. This makes it possible for us to do non simultaneous exchange with up to 3 people or a good way to travel 2 generations. We have a 7 seat car. We have a nice big yard and resently build a green house and put in a hot tub.. Bikes for 4 people and a tandem-bike
From our house we have 1 km to the train to Copenhagen (city center 45min by train), 1 km to shopping center, 400 m to the fjord, 1 km to woods and 5 km to very beautiful child friendly beaches.

Neighborhood
About the neighborhood
We live close to the center of town. You can walk there in 10 min. We also live close to the water. At the end of our road we have a nice spot overlooking the fiord and walking there only takes 10 min. Frederikssund has trains to Copenhagen (45 min to Copenhagen center – runs every 10 min).
We love to have the water and the woods within reach. We have bicycles in all shapes and sizes and use them every day. Our previous exchange families has been very fond of using our bikes and one of them said it was the best about Denmark.
From here it is easy to reach Hillerød (Frederiksborg castle) and Roskilde (cathedral). We have nice beaches close by.
