An original architect house in a trendy area 20' away from downtown Brussels
Designed by an architect, this mini-house is charming and intimate.
It has been refurbished indoor/outdoor in year 2022. Gardening works is still ongoing.
Situation is ideal, because pretty isolated from the busy traffic of the avenue, at 5 minutes walk from the contemporary museum "Wiels" and around 25 minutes to historical center of Brussels with public transports.
Public transports (tram & bus) are just opposite the avenue.
This house is located among an ancient industrial site, with former warehouses and aligned houses of workers with mini-gardens.
The house has a nice wooden terrace and a sitting area for summer lunches or evening barbecues.
The train line 124 is running down our garden. Frequency of trains is around 15' during the week. For us it has never been an annoyance of any kind though.
There is an open air private parking nearby the house, which is partially enclosed only during nights.
For people who are prone to vertigo, we emphasize that the house is made up of quite steep and openwork stairs which can be quite impressive at first glance.

Close to two beautiful public parks ("Parc Duden" and "Parc de Forest").
The area is quiet, yet with few shops, snacks and "cafés".
Transport facilities : 6 stops from the main railway station "Gare du Midi" Zuid Station, South Station (Eurostar, ICE and all national trains).
25 minutes from the city centre with public transports.
Easy access from the ring, and the highway from Paris.
Supermarket, bakery and a grocery shop nearby.
Few steps from contemporary art museum "Wiels" and photo gallery "Fondation A".

Beautiful house in nice neighborhood in Brussels!
Surprisingly original place with definitely good vibes! It was a pleasure to stay: interesting neighborhood with beautiful architecture around and good public transport just in front of the door (besides the best bakery of Brussels). Contact with Anja and Manuel was prompt and they are very welcoming, caring and sympathetic hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality Anja and Manuel, and taking care of our home! We have had a lovely weekend!! Ps. If you have cracky knees, you might take into account that there are many floors, and so some staircases to take.

We are a german-french-belgian family, who has lived in Paris-London and now in the capital of Europe : Brussels. We are two adults and a lovely 15 years old girl.

Our cat "Zazie" is very sociable and easy going. She is independant, thanks to an automatic cat-flap. She's doing her needs outdoor. She loves to be petted.
